Beate Huber

Beate Huber has been working for FiBL since 2001. She is a trained agricultural engineer (Nürtingen University of Applied Sciences) and has had numerous further training courses in certification, accreditation and systemic organizational development. She worked for five years at the Bioland Association, first in marketing and later in management, and from 1992 spent six years building up the organic certification body Alicon, a subsidiary of Bioland which later merged to become ABCERT. She has been involved with FiBL since 2001, first building up FiBL Germany as managing director and then moving to FiBL Switzerland in 2004 in the International Cooperation Department. Since 2009 she has headed the Department of International Cooperation at FiBL and is a member of the Executive Committee.
