Born in Portugal, David de Brito spent most of his professional life in Germany and Switzerland, where he founded and managed several start-ups in the hospitality and tourism sectors, and worked as a digital strategist for advertising and communication companies. As the father of three sons, he realized in 2015 the importance of the environment we live in, and decided then to focus all his energy on fighting ecological decay. In 2018, he joined forces with his wife, Anna de Brito, and his friend Thomas Sterchi to found Terramay in Alentejo (Portugal) – a 562-hectare organic farm where he aims to combat desertification and build an ecological, social and economically sustainable business.
