Eve Jatzmati, the daughter of a Thai mother and a Syrian father, was born in Bangkok and raised in Germany. Food has always played a big role in her family and her life. During her studies, her work revolved around art, design, media and, of course, food. The flavours and smells of fermented foods have always accompanied meals in her life. In her current project 'evesfermentationlab' on Instagram, she picks up on these themes. With the aim of making the health and taste benefits of fermented foods accessible to more people.
