Mag. Martin Nittnaus was practically born a winemaker. He studied literature and media science before joining the 30-hectare winemaking business of his parents, Hans and Anita Nittnaus. Turning to biodynamics in 2009 led them to question fining, filtering and even the addition of sulphur to their product. The highly decorated and internationally awarded Nittnaus wines are full of life, exceptionally precise and unadorned thanks, among other things, to the careful use of wood and moderate extraction.
