Manuel Klarmann wants to make nutrition in Switzerland, especially in restaurants and canteens, more sustainable. To this end, the scientist co-founded the start-up Eaternity in 2008. The concept: the company collects CO2 data from food. Thanks to this basis, cooking professionals and interested private individuals can assess the sustainability of food. He has an ETH Master of Science NSC and studied mathematics and neuroinformatics, is a proud father, likes to eat vegan and measures himself according to his environmental successes.
