As Senior Fellow and Head of Research Open Switzerland, Dr Patrick Dümmler is responsible for foreign economic, agricultural, environmental and energy policy issues. He holds a Master's degree in economics from the University of Zurich, a doctorate from ETH Zurich and has published several textbooks. After more than ten years in strategy consulting and managing an association for the promotion of medical technology exports, Patrick Dümmler joined Avenir Suisse in November 2015. As an independent think tank, Avenir Suisse develops free-market, liberal and scientifically based ideas for the future of Switzerland.
