As a trained cheesemaker, Serdar Hess has worked in both large and small businesses. He produced specialities from the Zurich Oberland for Baer Camembert as well as for the artisan cheese dairy Käserei Girenbad in Christa Egli's team. In 2016, the young cheesemaker ventured out on his own and opened Switzerland's first city cheese dairy in the Markthalle Basel. Thanks to bold recipes, the handmade products of Mylk AG soon conquered the shelves of major Swiss distributors.
