Tobias Zihlmann

Tobias Zihlmann is the founder of diversitas, a Zurich-based startup that developed the ONO platform. As a trained chef, Tobias wanted to connect restaurateurs and producers by facilitating a direct and simplified food trade route between producers and restaurants.
Small and medium-sized artisanal production companies in the agriculture sector in particular rely on variety, rarities and small production quantities. For them, an alternative to the conventional wholesale system is needed so that they can survive sustainably in the market. ONO was developed for this purpose. ONO is the digital marketplace through which food finds its way directly from the producer to the catering trade – without the middleman.
