The former Director of the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FIBL took over as Director of the corresponding European institute at the beginning of April, and also works as an independent consultant at government level. Urs Niggli sees himself as a bridge builder between the concepts of efficiency-based agriculture and ofttimes idealized organic farming. He is known in this capacity as an inspirational speaker who is able to create understanding on all sides.
