The award-winning filmmaker and director Valentin Thurn attracted international attention with his films “TASTE THE WASTE - die globale Lebensmittelverschwendung” and “10 MILLIARDEN - Wie werden wir alle satt?”. He founded “Foodsharing e.V.” in 2012 and “Taste of Heimat e.V.” in 2014, which inspired more than 40 cities in German-speaking countries to establish a food council. Valentin Thurn’s commitment, however, reaches far beyond national borders, as he also inspires audiences at international conferences in India, Mexico, South Africa and Ecuador.
